I cannot log in

Something has happened in the 3 hours between me working on my website. I was trying to add a new domain. I walked away. When I returned, it asked me to log back in. I immediately received a "you have tried too many times to log in; wait 6 hours". I just tried again this morning and again, I immediately received the same message. No matter what I do, I get the message.

yes, I even used alternate browsers and the you are locked out message showed up on all of them.

Yes, I have tried refreshing browser, rebooting, alternative browsers, forgot id name, forgot password. Even when clicking forgot password (after the required 6 hours they said), I received the locked message. I can do nothing to open my website for edits.
