What's up with websites being discontiued Jan 15, 2026? Why am I just hearing about this?
I'm pretty pissed and stressed at the moment with Homestead. I have received no communication informing me of this change. I've had three websites for close to 20 years and this is how corporate "honors" their customers? I need assistance migrating my websites (that I have paid for through July 2026) Has homstead gone bust? As a faithful customer I'm owed at least an explanation. Are you bankrupt? Greedy? Don't give a rat's azz? I'm pretty disgusted at the moment.

I am in the same boat. I only just found out because I needed to add to my website page. There has been no communication or notice that this was going to happen. What is going on? I have been with you for years. Is Homestead going off the internet? Does this mean my current website will be deleted? I need to know. How to I keep my domain name so I can transfer to another host server. I need to know this asap as it takes me a long time to build my website. Please respond.

I just saw this today ((December 19, 2025)! I have received NO notification of this at all.
Does this mean my web site is going to be GONE? What about my email address that is tied to my website? Will my email address be gone too? I'm paid up through July 2026. I have been with Homestead for about 20 years! If Homestead is going away HOW do I keep my domain name so I can transfer to another host server? PLEASE answer my questions SOON.

So much confusion and stress .... simply because of poor communication.
If we all knew enough about techy stuff to decipher what their "Web Listing Service" actually was then we probably wouldn't need Homestead at all !
But whoever's owned it over the years has never been hot on communication .... except when it's subscription renewal time of course.
If i could've easily migrated out I would have done so years ago tbh.
And I guarantee I'm not alone there.
