Is it really possible for Sitebuilder to have https

I did try reading the explanation from over 7 years ago and could not read the image examples for they were very small.

I know the new web builder has the https built in and that's great, but my sitebuilder website format is really much more desirable for what I like to design.

Am I simply stuck with the http protocal using sitebuilder or can my old platform hold a  https status, some how or some way.

I do have an active clouflare account and have replaced the nameservers from cloudflare to homestead.

I've manipulated their settings as well through their instruction and yet still no https.

Any help would be great.

Thank you

Sitebuilder Desktop? Probably not.

Sitebuilder Plus? Yes.

Russell, do you think the inability of acquiring an https setting is because of my inserted google algorithm watchers or maybe the form provided by the platform asking for phone numbers and email addresses, or is it more something within the communication addresses within the various proxy settings or something of similar nature through cloudflare.

I suppose one day I'll get it figured, but whatever it is I'm sure its a simple adjustment I'll never determine on my own.

Thank you.

Anyone out there in this community with Sitebuilder plus actually have the desired https setting before their domain name.

If so great, I'll keep trying.

You can try adding it to your Sightbuilder desktop site using the cloudflare setup for SB+.

Make your SITEBUILDER PLUS WEBSITE SECURE: Cloudflare can be used to add a free SSL? Please refer to these instructions.

You can SSL your Sitebuilder Plus website by following this article:

If you're having trouble with the Cloudflare setup, you can always call for assistance at 1-800-710-1998.

Hey there!

Can you post a screenshot of your Cloudflare settings, so I can try to see what is missing?

With these present setting above, I have tried a number of other settings

1) turning on the proxy of the CNAME  www setting, which basically made the a host error pop up when opening the domain.

2) Setting the encryption level to flex or less, which did not help gain an https setting.

As of now the website opens with ease but still no https.

I'm pretty positive that you elyzabethv can point me in a much closer direction.

Thank you for your efforts.

Sincerely, Mark

Hey Mark,

Are you able to call in? Phone support may be able to log in and figure out the issue much easier than I can through screenshots. I don't see anything in the screenshots you've posted that should prevent it from working. 1-800-710-1998

Here is what Cloudflare thinks.

Basically port 80 or 443 issue, possibly being blocked by my host carrier .. homestead.

possible or not .. keep me posted.

@mark6276 You will need to upgrade your websites to SB+. Doing so will allow you to use a similar editing format but provide you SSL eligibility.

If you'd prefer a mobile friendly option, you'll want the new websitebuilder program.
