Add shipping to PayPal Button on SiteBuilder Plus

Currently I offer free shipping but would like to add a shipping fee to my 'Buy Now' button.

Using SiteBuilder Plus, how do I add this feature?

Per Google:
Because SiteBuilder Plus is an older tool, you will need to add shipping costs by creating your PayPal button through your PayPal Business account and embedding the code. This process allows you to include shipping and tax settings directly within the button's code.
Step 1: Set up shipping calculations in your PayPal account
  1. Log in to your PayPal Business account at paypal.com.
  2. Click the Profile icon in the top right corner, and then select Account Settings.
  3. In the left-hand menu, click My selling tools.
  4. Next to "Shipping calculations," click Update.
  5. On the Shipping Calculations page, set up your domestic and international shipping methods, rates (based on flat rates, weight, or quantity), and any handling fees.
Step 2: Create a PayPal Buy Now button with shipping
    1. Go to PayPal's "Make a PayPal button" page at paypal.com/buttons.
    2. Log in with your PayPal Business account.

  • Select the button type you want to create, such as Buy Now or Add to Cart.
  • Fill in your item's name and price.
  • In the "Shipping" section, you can either:
    • Use your saved profile settings: Select Use settings saved in your PayPal profile to apply the rates you set up in Step 1.
    • Override with a specific amount: Click Use specific amount and enter a flat shipping rate for that particular item.
  • Click Create Button at the bottom of the page.

Step 3: Add the button to your SiteBuilder Plus website
  1. PayPal will generate the HTML code for your new button. Click Select Code to highlight the code, then copy it.
  2. Log in to your SiteBuilder Plus editor.
  3. Go to the page where you want to add the button.
  4. Add a new section, and look for an option to insert an "HTML code block," "Custom HTML," or "HTML Embed".
  5. Paste the button code you copied from PayPal into the custom HTML box.
  6. Publish your website to make the changes live.

Unable to add different shipping rates, ie domestic/international rates on the shipping calculations page by following above.  Can click on 'Update' under 'Shipping' and can offer flat rate or by % shipping but no fields to edit or add rates by locations.  Contacted PayPal Help Desk and also spoke to rep on the phone-still unable.  Rep advised to go to Developer-not user friendly

Try this:

To add shipping fees to your Homestead Simple Store, go to your store's admin panel and find the shipping settings to set up rates based on flat fees or weight, and define shipping zones for different regions. You can set a flat rate per order or per item, or create more complex rules like weight-dependent rates for heavier products.
Create a flat-rate shipping fee
  1. Go to your store's admin panel and find the Shipping section.
  2. Click Add Shipping Option and choose Flat Rate.
  3. Give the shipping method a name, like "Standard Shipping".
  4. In the Per Order Fee field, enter the base shipping cost.
  5. (Optional) To charge an extra fee for each item in an order, enter an amount in the Fee Per Item field.
  6. Click Shipping Zones to choose which locations this rate will apply to.
  7. Save your changes.
Create a weight-based shipping fee
  1. Go to your store's admin panel and find the Shipping section.
  2. Create a new shipping profile or edit an existing one.
  3. Set up rules based on the weight of the order.
  4. Enter a fee for different weight ranges (e.g., a fee for orders 0-2 lbs and a different fee for 2-5 lbs).
  5. Save your settings.
Set up shipping zones
  1. Navigate to the Shipping settings in your admin panel.
  2. Find the Shipping Zones tab or section.
  3. Create a new zone by entering a name (e.g., "United Kingdom") and selecting the specific countries you want to include.
  4. Add shipping rates (flat or weight-based) to each zone.
  5. Save your zones and rates.
