How do I edit how customers pay me?

We set up a payment page years ago. I have forgotten how to edit it.

In particular, we are not getting emails that tell us an order has been placed. How can we fix that?

Per Google:

To set up a payment page on your Homestead Simple Store, you'll need to choose and configure a payment provider.
Here's a general guide:
  1. Access your Homestead WebsiteBuilder: Log in to your Homestead account and access the WebsiteBuilder tool.
  2. Navigate to Store Settings:
    • Click on "Store" in the left-hand panel.
    • Then, click on "Manage Products & Orders".
    • Click on "Settings" on the left menu.
    • Scroll down to "Payment providers".
  3. Choose your Payment Provider: Click "Edit" next to "Payment providers" to see the available options.
    • PayPal: You'll need to enter the email address linked to your PayPal account and submit.
    • Stripe: Choose to connect an existing account or create a new one. Connecting an account will take you to the Stripe website to authorize access.
    • Cash on Delivery: Simply enable this option.
  4. Activate your chosen provider(s): Click "Activate" under the desired payment option(s).
  5. Configure payment settings: Follow the on-screen instructions to connect your chosen payment provider(s) to your Simple Store. This may involve entering account information, linking existing accounts, or authorizing access.
  6. Add Products: Make sure you've added your products to your SimpleStore.
  7. Publish your website: Save your changes and publish your website to make the payment options available to your customers.
Important Notes:
  • Payment Options: Homestead WebsiteBuilder eCommerce offers PayPal, Stripe, and Cash on Delivery as payment options.
  • Built-in PayPal for SimpleStore: If you have SimpleStore, the option to use PayPal is built-in and you don't need to add a separate PayPal button.
  • Fees: Both Stripe and PayPal have their own transaction fees.
  • Square: Square is not currently an integrated payment processor with Homestead WebsiteBuilder eCommerce.
  • Additional Setup: Remember to configure other essential store settings like shipping rates, taxes, and email notifications to ensure a smooth customer experience.
