Roundcube: Check Email

Roundcube: Check Email
Here are instructions on how you can check your email once you have created an email address @ your domain name.

There are 2 methods to check your Homestead email.

  1. First, if you are already logged into the Homestead account, click on "Email" from the tab on the left

  2. Choose the domain you want to check email for and click Submit.

  3. Email addresses that use Roundcube will have a blue mail icon to the left of the address. To the right, you'll see "View Webmail". Click that.

  4. This will bring you to the Roundcube Webmail log in page.
Enter your full email address and password and click Login.

If you are not logged into Homestead or do not have the main accounts log in credentials, go to homestead.com and select "Webmail" in the top right.

This will bring you to a login page. Enter your full email address and password.

Hello,

There may be some email DNS settings that need to be added, the records should reflect these. https://community.homestead.com/homestead/topics/dns-records-for-homestead-email I can review the records, what domain is the email with?

I am not receiving emails on any of my Roundcube accounts. I tried the link above, but got a 404 error. I can send, but cannot receive it.

I just setup 5 new email addresses and I am having the same issue.  I can send emails but I do not receive them on Roundcube or Outlook.  1 email in question is erik@sanjuansalsa.com.  I've tried both IMAP and POP, with the SSL setting on and off and adjusting the incoming/outgoing ports as suggested.  Still nothing received on Outlook or Roundcube.

Can you check and let me know why it's not working?  If necessary, I can call support also

Not a problem. I was able to locate the issue. The email DNS was missing from the advanced DNS settings. I have added these back and the email will now be able to send and receive properly shortly.

Awesome!  I can now see them on Roundcube and they just came to my Outlook also.  Will that resolve the issue for all 5 of the emails I created yesterday, or just this one?.  The other email addresses are Sandy@sanjuansalsa.com, Teresa@sanjuansalsa.com, Aaron@sanjuansalsa.com and todd@sanjuansalsa.com. Thanks for your help thus far

I just created 5 email addresses and I am having multiple issues:

1. I cannot receive any emails at all.  I can send.

2. Outlook will not add these email accounts.  I believe these 2 issues are related.

One of the emails in question is: treasurer@woodland-park-hoa.org

Hello Dee7816,

Thanks for providing the domain name. I updated the DNS email settings for your domain. This should fix issues with sending and receiving emails.

I have included a link to the Homestead community article that has client settings and instructions to set up Outlook.

Let us know if you have any questions.

I just created an email (owners@shorebeatsworkstx.com), but am unable to receive mail. Senders receive a bounceback with the error "recipient does not have an account." I've only tried to send one test message, but it did go through, but even replying to that message bounced back.

Hello,

It appears the email services were suspended for spam, but this was in 2021 however we do recommend making sure to run virus/malware scans daily, and to reset the passwords. I have sent a request to remove the suspension, please allow 24-48 business hours.

hello!

This has probably been answered many times before, but prolih@pierroelectric.com wont send emails. Get 550 administrative error which appears to mean the address was compromised. Changed password, now what? Thank you
