Homestead email not forwarding correctly to Outlook - Popup asking for imap and smtp passwords

I started having this problem last week.  When I go to outlook, where homestead forwards my email, I get popup that asks for smtp@mydomain password.  I entered it and kept going back to the popup.  Then computer wouldn't even function because of the popups.  Also asks for imap password.  Outlook is not usable at this point due to the popups. What can I do to fix this?
