I have a custom-coded HTML homepage I want to use instead of my SiteBuilder index.xpf page. Is that possible in old website builder, and how?

Hello,

Unfortunately, custom-coded HTML homepages are not supported by Homestead, as it does not allow uploading or managing a custom index file through the File Manager. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Thank you for your understanding.

@homestead_faq Can I switch my current site into a new SiteBuilder? The designs and templates on the old are terrible and archaic

Hello,

Yes, you can switch from Site Builder to Website Builder, which is our newer platform. Please note that the migration is not automatic, and you will need to rebuild your website from scratch on the new platform.

If you would like to start creating your new website, simply go to Websites Manager and select Add New Site. This will create a new website on the Website Builder platform.

Once you have finished building your new site, please contact us, and we will be happy to install the SSL certificate and update your domain to point to the new website.
