Gmail stops email fetching from 3rd party account, like Homestead email

Gmail just notified that they will no longer "Check mail from other accounts: Fetching emails from third-party accounts into your Gmail account, with POP, will no longer be supported." and I can't access my email at Homestead. The user name and password I set up isn't working and I don't see how to change the password. I need actual human help... is anyone home?
