Email Not Working for 5 days now

I have several email addresses that I use for business and keeping in touch with costumers. Last Thursday I called for help on getting the emails working properly, and they told me they had fixed the issue with the DNS settings. They said it would take 24-48 hours to restore, but the emails are still not working properly. I cannot send emails and only receive an error message any time I try.
