Website shows 'Not Secure' in browser, customers turning away-now have a website that is 'down'-error 521
Website window shows 'Not Secure' before my domain name.
Customers state they exited site because of this.
Would like to make website secure.
Followed other posts, created a Cloudflare account and followed steps to change the DNS settings to make website SSL secure. Changed the domain server windows as directed by Cloudflare, checked my website and now 'Web Server is Down-Error 521-contact Cloudflare'. Cloudflare is stating it is a Homestead issue---
"The honest reality
Homestead is a managed website builder, not a standard web host. Most site builders (Homestead, Wix, Weebly, etc.) don't support being used with Cloudflare's proxybecause they control the entire stack including DNS. Cloudflare works best with hosts where you control the origin server (cPanel hosts, VPS, dedicated servers, etc.)."
Any suggestions/assistance would be greatly appreciated! Would really like my website to be active and secure.

Update: I called the Homestead support phone number. Most helpful and excellent assistance. The tech was able to access my Cloudflare account and resolved the issues within minutes! My website is now active again---and secure!

Hello,
I understand that you are seeing a "Not Secure" message on your end. However, after checking, I can confirm that the website appears to be secure. As a troubleshooting step, I highly recommend clearing your browser's cache and cookies, then refreshing the page and checking again.
If the issue persists, please let us know, and we will be happy to assist you further.
