To change your Homestead nameservers, log into your Homestead account, navigate to the Domain manager, find the relevant domain, and edit its nameservers. You'll need to enter the new nameservers, review your changes, and then submit them, Fused.com says.
Detailed Steps:
Log into your Homestead account.
Navigate to the Domain manager. You'll typically find this option in the left-hand navigation menu, often labeled as "Domains" or "Website Domains", Fused.com says.
Find the specific domain you want to modify.
Edit the nameservers. Look for an option like "Edit your nameservers" or "Manage Nameservers", Fused.com says.
Enter the new nameservers.
Review your changes and submit them.
Additional Notes:
It may take some time for the changes to propagate through the DNS system, Web.com says.
If you're switching to a new hosting provider, they will typically provide you with the nameservers you need to enter.
If you're using a domain registrar other than Homestead, you'll need to make the changes through their system, Hostinger says.
To edit your nameservers in your Homestead website account, navigate to the "Domains" section, then locate the "Manage your Website Domains" option. From there, you'll find the "Edit your nameservers" link, where you can replace the existing nameservers with your desired ones.
Detailed Steps:
Log in to your Homestead account.
Go to the Domains section. You can usually find this on the left side of the screen, as described in the Homestead Community.
Click "Manage your Website Domains".
Locate and click "Edit your nameservers".
Follow the on-screen instructions to enter the new nameservers. You may need to erase the existing ones and type in the new ones, as outlined by the Web.com.
My domain is thru Network Solutions and I changed the name servers. Are you aware Homestead says, on one page to change them to example: nds1, nds 2 and 3. These are the usual ones. But on a dif page it now says example: nds 3 and nds 4. I’ve been with you for over 20 yrs and the 3 and 4 is new. 654tony.com is attempting to point/direct to anthonycamanelli.com. Having 2 dif pages say 2 dif sets of nameservers is confusing. Thanks so much, you guys are great 👍🏻
