Error code: SSL_ERROR_NO_CYPHER_OVERLAP

We have had an issue with our site for at least a week.  We found a post here that advised how to fix the SSL.  We completed those steps & it said 24 hrs our site should be good.  However, That was last Wednesday & the site is still not operational.  How can we get that process to be pushed through as we are losing clients due to our website issues.

The SSL_ERROR_NO_CYPHER_OVERLAP error in Firefox occurs when your browser and the website cannot agree on a secure encryption method (cipher suite). This usually means the website uses outdated, insecure security protocols (like SSL3 or RC4) that modern browsers have disabled for safety.
Mozilla Support +2
Common Causes & Solutions:
    • Outdated Browser: Update Firefox to the latest version, as older versions may lack support for newer encryption methods.
    • Disabled TLS/SSL Settings: Check about:config in Firefox to ensure TLS 1.2 or TLS 1.3 is enabled, as disabling these can cause the error.
    • Website Issues: The website may be using outdated security (e.g., RC4 or SSL3), which requires contacting the site administrator to upgrade their server security
      .
  • Security Software: Third-party antivirus (Avast, Kaspersky, ESET) can interfere with SSL certificates; try disabling them temporarily.
  • Clear Cache: Clear your browser cache and cookies to ensure outdated settings are not causing a conflict.

Immediate Troubleshooting Steps:
  1. Update Firefox: Mozilla Support.
  2. Try another browser: Check if the site works in Chrome or Edge.
  3. Check about:config: Search for security.tls.version.min and ensure it is set to a reasonable default (usually 2 or 3).
  4. Clear browser cache

If the error persists on a specific website, it is almost certainly a server-side issue where the website's security configuration is too old for modern browsers.

Our customers are getting error messages regardless of which browser.  Our website is blackranchevents.com.

It's still listed as not secure.

Most likely, you tried to add Cloudflare to secure your website and you've failed to set up the DNS record as directed. Review the platform options below and review your installation to ensure it's correct.

You can SSL your Sitebuilder Plus website by following this article:

We went through the https://homesteadssl.com/ thing again and received another confirmation stating DNS settings made are correct your certificate will be provisioned soon.  How long does this take since we received the same message on 2.26.26?
