Domain Transfer

I am trying to transfer a domain and the authorization code cannot be sent as it cannot locate my email.  I updated my contact email - same result.  Domain is rickelspickels.com

Review your registration details:
To Find Your Registration Email & Registrar:
  1. Go to ICANN Lookup (lookup.icann.org): Visit this site and enter your domain name (e.g., yourdomain.com).
  2. Check Registrar Info: In the search results, find the "Registrar Information" section to see who your registrar is (e.g., GoDaddy, Google Domains).
  3. Check Your Email Inbox/Spam: Look for emails from your registrar (e.g., GoDaddy, Wix) or from addresses like no-reply@icann.org or wix-team@registrar.wix.com
Why This Matters (ICANN Validation):
  • Verification is Key: ICANN requires registrars to verify your contact info (especially email), and you'll get emails asking you to click a link to confirm.
  • Don't Miss Them: If you don't verify, your domain can be suspended, so check the inbox associated with your registration regularly.
  • Best Practice: Use a non-personal email (like admin@yourdomain.com) for registration, not your personal johndoe@gmail.com
Contact your registrar if you can't find the emails or need to update information, as ICANN doesn't manage your domain's contacts directly.
How to use it:
  1. Go to https://lookup.icann.org/.
  2. Enter a domain name (e.g., example.com) in the search box.
  3. Click search to see the registration details.
Why it's useful:
  • To identify a website's owner or hosting provider.
  • To find your domain's registrar if you forgot who sold it to you.
  • To check if a domain is registered or available.
