Overcharged

Received email communication 01/16/2025 that Website Hosting Package would renew on 01/31/2025 for total of $304.90.  

Today 01/31/2025 received email confirming auto-renewal, but was charged $334.90. This undisclosed/non-communicated up-charge needs to be corrected back to the amount of 304.90 that was specifically communicated. Please credit back the $30 up-charge/overcharge to the payment card on file.

Hello, 

We sent an email in December informing customers of a price increase that would apply to their next account renewal. For users who pay annually, this change went live on 1/20/2025. The previous price was $304.90, so the $2.50/month increase makes the amount you were charged the correct price.

The increase notice in December indicated the increase would be reflected on my next renewal notice.  Here is my renewal notice received 01-16-25:  

Hi Marianne,
Just letting you know the following item will renew as outlined below. If your billing information is up-to-date, then you’re all set!

The notice in January was AFTER the December email which didn't specify the annual renewal price.  But...the notice received in January as shown above, specified 304.90 for renewal on 01-31-25...nothing about 334.90 or a price increase occurring on 1-20.  So again....304.90 is what was relayed on 01-16-25 as the renewal charge effective 01-31-25.
