website builder files

Hi all,

Please can someone point me in the right direction to view and delete old files in website builder. I know it doesn't have a file manager as such but I must be able to go somewhere and view them to edit / delete?

Many thanks,

Lee

To delete a file from your Homestead Website Builder program, you need to navigate to the File Manager from your website's control panel and then select the file or page you wish to delete. After selecting the item, click the delete icon or button in the menu bar to remove it from your site.
Here are the detailed steps:
  1. Log in to your Homestead account: and open your website editor.
  2. Access the File Manager:
    • Look for a link or button that says "Websites Manager" or "Website Manager" in the left navigation menu.
    • Click on "Edit Site" or "Log into Website Manager".
    • Once in the manager, click on your domain name or sitename at the top, and then select "View File Manager".
  3. Locate and select the file or page: In the File Manager, you'll see all your website's content. Find the specific page or file you want to delete and highlight it.
  4. Delete the file: With the file highlighted, look for a delete icon (often a trash can symbol) or a "Delete" button in the top menu bar and click it.
  5. Confirm deletion: You may be asked to confirm your decision to permanently delete the file.
Important Note: Make sure the page is not open in your site builder program when you go to delete it from the File Manager
