Updating my website
I have a very old website that I would like to update and make secure. How do I do that and still keep my domain name?

What platform are you using. SB+ or Websitebuilder? If you're using the Desktop Sitebuilder, you'll need to upgrade.
You can SSL your Sitebuilder Plus website by following this article:

If you're having trouble with the Cloudflare setup, you can always call for assistance at 1-800-710-1998.

If you are thinking about Website Builder, great. You will have a really nice looking website when you are done. Depending on the package you have, you may just be able to "add a new website" to your account and you will automatically be directed to the new website builder templates. When you click on "add a new website" a name block will pop up and ask you to name your new website. You can actually put in your current domain name because until you activate it and connect your current domain, it is going to say www.mycurrentdomainname@homesteadcloud.com That means you can rebuild your new site without disturbing your old site and once you are ready, you just re-associate your domain name to your "new" site. Security and mobile versions are built in! There is no transferring of pages from Sitebuilder to Website Builder, you have to cut, paste, re-save graphics. There are some shortcuts I can tell you about if you need them for this process. Just email me at picturethismultimedia@comcast.net or better yet call me during business hours and I can try to guide you through it. I hate typing if I don't have to. I am on the East Coast.
