SSL/HTTPS activation for existing SiteBuilder website
Hello Homestead Support Team,
I am currently using the classic Homestead SiteBuilder to host my website, www.empirelightsound.com.
My website works correctly over HTTP, but HTTPS is not available. When I try to access https://www.empirelightsound.com, the browser displays a connection error.
The website is also accessible through its original Homestead address:
https://djiakeb.homestead.com/index.html
I would like to enable SSL/HTTPS for both empirelightsound.com and www.empirelightsound.com while keeping my existing website, domain registration and email services with Homestead.
Could you please clarify:
-
Can Homestead activate SSL/HTTPS for my existing classic SiteBuilder website?
-
Can this be done without migrating or rebuilding my website?
-
Are there any additional costs involved?
-
If SSL is not supported directly, what alternative solution would you recommend?
Thank you in advance for your assistance.
Best regards,
Bruno
