Server and client do not share a protocol in Homestead Websitebuilder?
An "SSL Protocol Error" on a Homestead site typically means the browser (client) and server cannot establish a secure connection, often caused by misconfigured DNS settings, an expired certificate, or cached, outdated security settings.

Common Causes and Solutions for Homestead Websitebuilder:
  • SSL Certificate Configuration: If the SSL wasn't properly activated, you may need to go to homesteadssl.com to configure your domain and DNS settings.
  • DNS Settings: Ensure that the A records (@ and www) are correctly pointed to the IP address provided by the Homestead SSL tool.
  • Browser Cache: Clear your browser's cache and cookies to ensure it isn't using outdated security information.
  • System Time: Verify that your computer's date and time are accurate, as incorrect time can invalidate SSL certificates.

If you are seeing this error, it is advised to check the DNS records for your domain.
