Section 2 is hidden - only on desktop version

SOMEHOW I "lost" my section 2.  Added a new section and the section resized oddly, so while trying to make the giant section smaller, I "lost" section 2.  Now I know how to use sections, and section 2 is surely there somewhere.  It is completely blank on the desktop but is showing on mobile version.  That's a new one on me.  Anyone have an answer for this quandry?  I REALLY don't want to have to reconstruct the section.  www.thetownfair.net

Let me know if this helps.

HOW TO SEE ALL THE ELEMENTS ON A PAGE:
In your editor, press the CTRL key down and tap A. This will highlight all the elements on the page. You should then be able to find the text box, click on it, and delete it.

ELEMENT OUT OF RANGE:
Set your page width to 1500. Use Page Settings > Background > Insert 1500 in the Page Width element > Save.
Depress the control key and press "A" to select all elements or right-click your mouse and Select All. By doing this you'll have outlined all the elements. If an item is out of the range of your standard page width, you see it outlined. At this time you can select that one element and move it (unlock if needed) or delete it.

IMAGE LAYERING:
Right-click the image and select a layer to move the element to the front or back.

LAYERING ELEMENTS:
Layering procedure: Select the element > right-click> choose your layering command.
The help section has no explanation for the "Bring Forward" and "Send Back" elements in the Image Setting menu. I don't think they have any purpose currently. Perhaps they did. what we've been trying to make them do, at one time. The programmers should try fixing that. It's very misleading. Also, there's no other explanation for layering. Layering is an excellent feature. Now you know how to use it, you'll find many applications for it.

Thanks for the detailed response, but yeah, none of that worked. I am on a Mac by the way, so I don't really have a "right click, but do know how to use the command/control keys.  On the desktop, my section just shows nothing.  Selecting all the elements there is just nothing there to grab, although I KNOW it is there.  So rather than deleting the section, I will just go back in the history and re-do the section I added and be a little more careful when reducing the size of the section!  I will bet it is a layering issue, but you are correct that there are no clear instructions on how to do it in Website Builder.

@lynn1286 Review these instructions.

To layer images in the Homestead website builder, you first need to add the images to the page as individual elements. Then, you can adjust their position and size to overlap them, effectively creating a layered effect. You can also use the "Advanced" settings in the Website Builder to customize the layering further, such as adding transparency or adjusting the order of layers.
Detailed Steps:
  1. 1. Add Images:
    • Navigate to "Elements" > "Images" > "Image" in the Website Builder.
    • Select the images you want to use from uploads, links, your existing library, or stock images.
    • Click "Place" to add the images to the page.
  2. 2. Position and Resize:
    • Drag and drop the images to their desired positions on the page.
    • Resize the images by clicking and dragging on the corners or edges of the image.
  3. 3. Layering:
    • To layer images, ensure that the images overlap each other on the page.
    • You can adjust the size and position of each image to create different layering effects.
  4. 4. Advanced Settings (Optional):
    • For more control over layering, you can access the "Advanced" settings of each image.
    • Here, you can adjust settings like transparency (making an image partially see-through), or change the order of layers to determine which image appears in front.
  5. 5. Customization:
    • Use the various options within the Website Builder to customize your images and create the desired visual effect.
By following these steps, you can effectively layer images in Homestead's website builder to create visually appealing designs

Hi Lynn! Can you use the save history to go back to a time before that section was hidden?

Yes- that is what I am going to do since adding the section that caused the problem is easier to redo than the section that was hidden.  I just wish I could figure out how you can see it properly on mobile but it's invisible on desktop.  After all this time, I would have thought I could solve that problem.
