No image rotate option??

HI all

I'm one if the long-termers who used to use the PC based Site Builder and finds the online builder at times extremely complicated.

I am trying to find any option for rotating images, either alone on a page or part of a gallery.  For some unknown reason photos taken with cell phones often display the way they were photographed, even if they are rotated and saved with the desired orientation.

If there isn't a rotate option in the site editor, WE NEED ONE.  Even Ebay has one and it comes in VERY handy now and then.

To rotate an image within a Homestead Website Builder page, you'll need to use the "Edit" button on the image element, then look for the "Rotation" or "Angle" option, where you can specify the desired rotation in degrees.
Here's a more detailed breakdown:
  • Locate the Image: Find the image element you want to rotate on your page within the Homestead Website Builder.
  • Select the Image: Click on the image to select it.
  • Open the Image Editor: Click the "Edit" button that appears when the image is selected.
  • Find the Rotation Option: Within the image editor, look for options like "Rotation", "Angle", or a similar term that allows you to specify the rotation in degrees.
  • Adjust the Rotation: Use the provided input field or slider to set the desired rotation angle (e.g., 90 degrees, 180 degrees, etc.).
  • Save the Changes: Click "Save" or "Apply" to apply the rotation to the image.
Additional Tips:
  • Positive vs. Negative Angles:
Positive angles typically rotate the image clockwise, while negative angles rotate it counterclockwise.
  • Check for Specific Tools:
Some website builders might have specific tools or plugins for image editing, which might include rotation functionality. Check the Homestead Website Builder documentation for any such tools.
  • Alternative Methods:
If the built-in rotation tool doesn't work as expected, you can explore using external image editing software to rotate the image before uploading it to your website.
