How to convert http site to https?

To convert a Homestead website from HTTP to HTTPS, you can use Cloudflare for a Sitebuilder Plus site or update your Homestead.yaml file if you are working with Laravel Homestead local development.

Option 1: For Homestead (Sitebuilder Plus / Hosting)

If you are using the Homestead website builder, you can secure your domain using a free Cloudflare integration or by contacting support: [1, 2]

Set up Cloudflare:
- Create a free account on Cloudflare.
- Add your Homestead domain to Cloudflare and verify your DNS records so they match your Homestead settings.
- Update your nameservers in your Homestead account or with your domain registrar to point to Cloudflare. [1]

Enable HTTPS Settings in Cloudflare:
- Go to SSL/TLS Edge Certificates in your Cloudflare dashboard.
- Turn on "Always use HTTPS" and "Automatic HTTPS Rewrites". [1]

Republish Your Site:
- Log back into your Homestead account and republish your site if required.
- If you need direct help, you can reach out via the Homestead Community Support or call support at 1-800-710-1998. [1, 2]
