How do I transfer my domain out of homestead?

The only information I find is from over 6 years ago and it’s not the same options or set up und “domain” available now.

I recently had the same problem. They have to help you manually, i've been busy with it and it has been 1 month now and still only 2 out of 3 domains transferred out. Just so you know.

Maybe if you are in the USA you can try call them but for Europeans that is impossible for some reason

To transfer your domain out of Homestead, log in to your account, navigate to the Domains section, and ensure the domain is unlocked and privacy protection is disabled. Request the Authorization Code (EPP Code), which will be sent to your admin email. Use this code with your new registrar to initiate the transfer. [1, 2, 3, 4]
Key Requirements & Steps:
  • 60-Day Limit: The domain must have been registered or transferred within the last 60 days to be eligible.
  • Unlock Domain: In the Domains section of your Homestead account, select "Edit Domain Locking" to unlock it.
  • Disable Privacy: Turn off privacy protection, as this can block the transfer.
  • Get Auth Code: Select "Email your authorization code" within the domain management panel.
  • Verify Email: Ensure your administrative email address is current, as the code is sent there. [1, 2, 3, 4, 5]
Once you have the code, you can initiate the transfer at your new registrar (e.g., GoDaddy or Cloudflare). This process generally takes 5-7 days.
