Once you sign into Website Builder, you are already in edit mode.  There is a button near the top right for "Preview" if you want to look at it in Preview mode.  Then you just click around on your elements to edit them or go to the right ELEMENTS menu to add more.  Hope that helps.

Lynn, thanks for your response. I login to Homestead and don't have a separate login for Website Builder. My landing page after logging into Homestead used to have "Website" or "Website Builder" in the menu of options on the left, but it's not there anymore. On my Homestead landing page there isn't a Preview button anywhere on the page. Is there now a separate Website Builder site?

So you are still on SiteBuilder?  What is your site address?    You COULD call Homestead (what fun that will be) at 800-710-1998 and ask.

Really trying to avoid calling Homestead. It shouldn't be this difficult to edit my website (I really just want to shut it down/delete it, but figure I could open it for editing then leave it that way, effectively shutting it down - I only use the email at this point.) I used to be able to edit it after logging into Homestead, but that option isn't there anymore. My site address is www.ramseydevelopmentsolutions.com FWIW

Ah!  So it is an old Sitebuilder site.  Not much support on that.  It's been so long since I edited with that, I cannot remember how to "disengage the name"  If you bought your domain from somewhere else, you could always change the name servers there, or delete it from there (like if it was godaddy or something similar) I have to admit there there are a couple of sites in my account that just won't go away.  I have tried. They don't "go" anywhere, but I can't delete them.  So they just live in limbo.  IF you got your domain from Homestead, you should be able to "Un-associate" your domain from the actual website and then it doesn't show up anymore and you can still use the email.  I HAVE done that successfully a few times.   Good luck!!

How do you un-associate the domain from the website? I got it from Homestead back in 2012. I've shut the business down, so I don't want the website up anymore and I just use the old email associated with the account, which is why I haven't cancelled the whole thing, but I wonder at this point if I did cancel the whole account if the website would still be active???

I know you said you were trying to avoid calling Homestead, but if you do call them, they can help you change your account to Domain-Only hosting, which is one domain and one email address for $14.99/year. Any additional email addresses are an additional $12/year. This sounds like what would work best for you.
