Cloudflare Error on website after changing site association to newly designed website

We are getting an error on our website after cahnging site association to a newly designed website using website builder within our account. As soon as we selected the new redirect the site went down and has not come back up due to a cloudflare issue.

Error 1001

DNS resolution error

What happened?

You've requested a page on a website (www.murphyspublongbeach.com) that is on theCloudflarenetwork. Cloudflare is currently unable to resolve your requested domain (www.murphyspublongbeach.com). There are two potential causes of this:

  • Most likely:if the owner just signed up for Cloudflare it can take a few minutes for the website's information to be distributed to our global network.
  • Less likely:something is wrong with this site's configuration. Usually this happens when accounts have been signed up with a partner organization (e.g., a hosting provider) and the provider's DNS fails.

Please seehttps://developers.cloudflare.com/support/troubleshooting/http-status-codes/cloudflare-1xxx-errors/error-1001/for more details.

Please help!

MAKE YOUR WEBSITE SECURE:
When attempting to logon, did you get a message that your site is not secure or 1001 error code.

Did you recently add Cloudflare? Most likely, you tried to add Cloudflare to secure your website and you've failed to set up the DNS record as directed. Review the platform options below and review your installation to ensure it's correct.

You can SSL your Sitebuilder Plus website by following this article:

The issue appeared to be the @ a record was pointing to some weird IP. As soon as I updated that, the ssl was able to be issued and the website popped up. Thank you for your help and the link to https://community.homestead.com/conversations/sitebuilder-plus/can-i-secure-my-homestead-website-with-https/5f2a9b1658180958845a60de. Hi @murphyspublongbeach1937,

To resolve the issue, we will be reattaching the SSL certificate to your website to ensure it is properly secured and accessible.

Once the update has been made, please allow 24 to 48 hours for the SSL and DNS changes to fully propagate across the internet, although the process may complete sooner.

I will personally monitor the progress and provide you with an update here as soon as the website is online and the SSL certificate is active.

Thank you for your patience and understanding. We appreciate the opportunity to assist you.

Hi @murphyspublongbeach1937,

I'm happy to let you know that your website is now online and secure. The SSL certificate has been successfully configured, and the site is loading properly over a secure connection.

Please see the screenshot below for confirmation.

If you continue to experience any issues accessing the website, please let us know, and we'll be happy to investigate further.

Thank you for your patience while we worked on this for you! 😊
