Can you provide a description of your business?

Artichoke Interiors is a full service design studio with a retail boutique that features our furniture, window treatments and cabinetry lines.

How did you get started in this business?

I got started in this business working in a corporate setting and then started my own business to meet the needs of my growing family.  My first Homestead website was created when I worked out of my home while raising my children.

How do you market your business?

Our marketing includes our website, a feature at the Michigan Design Center,Facebook and Instagram, and Word of Mouth.

How has technology, such as computers and the internet, impacted on how you conduct business?

Technology has completely changed our business in creating design plans, customer moodboards, invoicing, and communication.

How important is social media to your business?

Social media is important to stay connected with our audience, keep them apprised of new product offerings, and to stay on their minds when they are ready for the next project!
