Can't delete files from file manager

I am using SB+.  I have found the files in file manager, I keep getting an error message saying: Oops! your request failed due to a network or server issue.  I can at times delete a random old file, and I go to do another one, and I get the above error message.  None of these files are being used on the website.

FILE MANAGER MAINTENANCE:
Open your file manager. Select the url on your page editor > select file manage from the drop down menu. Locate unneeded files > select/highlight and delete. You can use your delete key or the garbage can icon at the top of the page. WHERE IS THE FILE MANAGER

@russell5607​ Hiya. You say that the new website builder doesn't have a file manager as such, so where do I find the files to be able to manage them please? There are some there that are not needed anymore that I would like to delete.

If you need to delete some image files, click the option as if you are adding an image to your website. This will bring up the list of images you have already uploaded and you can delete anything you no longer need. For files, click the option to add a file.
