I am having the exact same problem. I called customer service. Today is Sunday, so apparently customer service is closed. I will call again tomorrow, but they may not answer since tomorrow is the Labor Day holiday. I will let you know what they say...

This is very frustrating. I have been a homestead customer for more than 25 years, and it's never been this bad...

For anyone having this issue, I would recommend first updating the domain contact information, then try to send the code.

Thank you so much for the response, Elyzabeth! I updated my contact info, my domain is unlocked, the privacy is off ... but I still get an error message that says "There was an error retrieving this domain's contact email. Please try again later" when I try to get the authorization code.

I wonder: What could be the issue?

What is the domain name, so I can try to send it from my end?
